Then we build it.**Engineering for Procurement MTO in Oslo is looking to strengthen the team with a new Lead Engineer for Bulk Packages. You will embark on a thrilling journey as you lead and perform package engineering tasks in the vibrant sectors of offshore wind, green hydrogen production, and Oil & Gas projects. Dive into the heart of comprehensive bulk design, navigate the intricacies of valve selection, and conduct thorough assessments. All these to ensure we’re not just hitting targets, but pushing the boundaries of performance and efficiency!About the positionStep into the role of a Lead Engineer for Bulk Packages, where you’ll be at the forefront of technical innovation. You’ll prepare and approve technical requisitions, specifications, and datasheets, serving as the vital link between suppliers, customers, and other technical disciplines. Your expertise will be called upon to evaluate supplier quotations, perform inspections, and witness testing at supplier workshops.You’ll oversee valve/bulk fabrication, installation, and testing at yard/offshore locations, responding to technical queries with precision and efficiency. Your responsibilities will also include the review and approval of supplier documentation, providing valuable input to technical data registers. Furthermore, you’ll contribute to reliability-centred maintenance (RCM) analyses and design improvements, ensuring our operations are not only efficient but also sustainable.
