This includes Norway’s ground-breaking Brevik carbon capture project, as well as Northern Lights, the world’s first CO₂ storage facility on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.Furthermore, we are developing the design and delivery methods for offshore floating wind and future hydrogen and ammonia projects.As part of a strategic alliance, we are also working on a large digitalization project, whilst pioneering new digital solutions to make operations safer and more efficient.Our Structure group within the Structure, Architecture and Maintenance department in Fornebu is now looking for a Specialist Structural Engineer.Over the years, Aker Solutions has developed procedures, work instructions, and guidelines for optimizing and standardizing the structural design and fabrication processes in our projects. Sets of structural Standard Details are also part of this development.The Standard Details range from welding and joint details for the different structure classes to specific components as monorail beams, stairs ladders, etc. The aforementioned documents and Standard Details are part of Aker Solutions' governing documents.The scope of work involves taking a main role in the maintenance and further development of the Standard Details and other structural governing documents. Part of the expected tasks for the position includes mentoring and tuition in the use of the Standard Details, in addition to collaborating in their implementation on the different projects.
