Energien vi leverer bidrar til å støtte økonomisk vekst og utvikling. Vi tar hensyn til samfunnsinteresser, og arbeider for at lokalsamfunn skal nyte godt av vår virksomhet samtidig som vi beskytter omdømmet vårt i forretningsdriften.

Oppfinnsomhet og avanserte teknologier er avgjørende for å kunne bidra til å dekke verdens energietterspørsel i fremtiden.

I Shell vet vi at ett enkelt selskap ikke kan utvikle alle disse alene. Vi samarbeider derfor nært med industripartnere og fagpersoner fra andre bransjer for å få nye ideer, og dele kunnskapen som bidrar til å drive utviklingen fremover.

Shell har vært aktiv i Norge i mer enn 100 år med oppstart i 1912.  Våre aktiviteter inkluderer leting og produksjon av olje og gass (oppstrøm), og raffinering, salg og markedsføring av petroleumsprodukter (nedstrøm). Vårt hovedkontor ligger i Sola kommune utenfor Stavanger. Oppstrømsvirksomheten har i tillegg kontorer i Kristiansund og på Aukra, mens nedstrømsvirksomheten blir ledet fra Oslo.

Vårt mål er å oppfylle energibehovene i samfunnet, på måter som er økonomisk, sosialt og miljømessig levedyktige, nå og i fremtiden.

Våre kjerneverdier er ærlighet, integritet og respekt for mennesker. Dette danner grunnlaget for Shells generelle forretningsprinsipper.

Your learning journey We’ve designed the Shell Assessed Internship with you and your future career in mind. To give you a real role in our business. You get the mentoring and support you need to succeed throughout your internship. As one of our Assessed Interns, your leader and mentor guide you through the completion of a major project with clear deliverables and outcomes. Work on real projects • You make an impact and gain hands-on experience in a project that contributes to the current and future energy mix• In one way or another, your work facilitates us in carrying out our purpose and meeting our targets Top support to bring out your best • A clear on-boarding process empowers you to familiarise yourself with Shell and its various businesses• You experience a culture of care from leaders who coach and support your wellbeing, enabling you to reach your personal and professional best• Grow, develop and collaborate with your global peers and Shell management in various networking events How an Assessed Internship works • After you’ve been placed, you, your mentor and your supervisor agree on which project you will undertake and on your specific development goals• Your mentor and supervisor provide you with regular and structured feedback – a kind of temperature check – throughout your internship• You participate in a formal mid-term review and an End of Internship Review with your mentor and supervisor• Following your successful completion of the assessments, we might be in the position to offer you a full-time employment opportunity  What we look for We welcome applicants in their penultimate year of study at a recognised university. We don’t ask for specific grades, but a strong academic record will help. For all our Technical roles, we do ask that you are studying towards a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification. For our Commercial and Corporate roles, we’re looking for a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Assessment Criteria Throughout the application and assessment process, you’ll be assessed using the following three criteria, which we call the CAR criteria: Capacity To see how well you absorb information, analyse problems, make fact-based decisions, and propose innovative solutions. Achievement To assess how you get things done, for example your drive, resilience, self-confidence, and organisational skills. Relationships To look at how well you work in teams, communicate and respect others.
