Pre Diagnostics AS is a Norwegian company that is currently developing its first diagnostic product, a novel and highly effective diagnostic test for early stages of Alzheimer, the first from a pipeline of diagnostics within the field of neurodegenerative diseases. Founded in 2013 by a highly experienced biotech team, Pre Diagnostics holds the exclusive rights to a patent-protected diagnostic concept developed at the Norwegian university hospital AHUS. Pre Diagnostics aims to be a leader in diagnosing early Alzheimer's disease pathology and focuses on the development of invitro diagnostic (IVD) biomarker products that use established and effective technologies and procedures.
An immunoassay based on Dynabeads has been developed and this assay is now in the process being optimized before CE-marking. Initial development work has been carried out in cooperation with key partners AHUS, Fürst medical laboratory, Life Technologies AS (ThermoFisher Scientific) and Bioventix plc (UK). We are now ready to start building our own team.
