Our Accelerate program combines on-the-job work assignments, technical and non-technical training, mentoring and networking opportunities to accelerate the development of our early career professionals. Graduates participate in our global Engineering Academy, with access to the expertise of global specialists in their fields. Career coaches and technical mentors support the professional development of graduates with career planning assistance, increasing technical proficiency, and identifying development and networking opportunities. We are developing graduates and supporting their careers with our Early Career Professionals and Graduate Program. The program combines technical and professional development training, mentoring, networking opportunities and on-the-job work assignments across our business to develop technical, business and leadership skills. ConocoPhillips har et omfattende læreprogram og tar hvert år inn en rekke nye lærlinger. Aktuelle kandidater tas inn til intervju, som danner grunnlaget for tilbud om stilling. Oppstart for nye lærlinger er i august-september. For de fleste er læretiden to år etter fullført to år på videregående skole. Læretiden leder fram til fagprøve. Alle får tildelt en fadder som følger opp lærlingen gjennom hele perioden i samarbeid med opplæringskontorene for de ulike fagene. En lærlingejobb i ConocoPhillips gir mulighet for å grundig lære seg faget og bli bedre kjent med oljeindustrien. Aktuelle fag kan variere fra år til år, og disipliner offshore kan variere mellom automasjon, elektro, industrimekaniker, kranfører, kjemi og prosess, mekaniker, NDT-kontroll, telekommunikasjon, og logistikk.
