We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our team of Naval Architects in the Design & Engineering organization in Ulsteinvik. The Naval Architects role is to act as a focal point for Naval Architectural "whole ship" perspectives with the client and assure that the end-product is optimized and the most beneficial trade-offs are implemented. Collaboration with customers and suppliers is a key part of the role. Hence, the ability to capture, analyze and communicate requirements from this interaction to the rest of the design team is crucial competency. ULSTEIN is participating in a highly competitive market and hence the ability to critically evaluate technical performance against business/commercial viability is of high importance.
