We also interact a lot with our Headquarter in Houston, USA.Areas of responsibility may include:Preparation of accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our reporting schedules and accounting policiesConduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reportingContribute to consolidation, group reporting and statutory reporting requirementsEnsure entities are compliant with accounting policies and internal control framework and policies related to internal &external financial reportingBusiness improvement and analyticsContact with auditorsAd-hoc financial tasksQualifications - what we look for:
We are looking for a candidate with 1 or more years of relevant experience in accounting, tax or auditing, with a master’s degree in accounting, auditing, finance or business/economics, showing strong academic results. The ideal candidate has experience from the energy industry, and strong system & analytical skills.Preferred competencies:Strong understanding of accounting with financial acumenAnalytical skills with a practical approach to problem solvingInterpersonal communication, both written & oral presentation skillsStrong organizational skillsDependability and adaptabilityProactive and ability to ask questionsTeam player with the ability to work independentlyProficiency with MS Office including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint and TeamsAbility to meet deadlines through good time management and prioritizationWork location
The work location is in our office in Tananger, outside Stavanger. We offer home office arrangement.Other
