ABB Senior designer (UX / Service Design)

The Digital Design team in ABB Industrial Automation is looking for a senior designer to strengthen our team. We are a multi-disciplinary team of specialists with a passion for delivering great user experiences, design driven innovation and technology. We often work together with ABB’s customers in software and service development, from initial research and conceptualization, through detailed design and finally to the evaluation of products in use. Thus, we have the privilege to be involved in the entire life cycle of software and service products, which give us invaluable insight and unique possibilities to influence on a strategic level.

Oppgaver :

At ABB you’ll make use of a broad skillset as designer. You will be working with projects ranging from development of visionary concepts for new products and services to production of high quality assets for our global UX style guide.

You may be given the task to design a large screen display for a control room, a mobile app for field workers maintaining windmills or a new data visualization tool for expert users. 
You’ll also participate in the exciting challenge of building a community of designers within ABB. With design teams all over the world (for example in Australia, China, India, USA, Canada and many European countries), we want to establish effective ways to collaborate and support each other.
