Statkraft Senior Project Manager / Prosjektleder (2 positions)

IT is responsible for delivering IT services to all units in Statkraft, and has a broad system portfolio consisting of a mix of purchased products and internally developed tools.  IT works closely together with the business units, providing business directed IT strategy, product management, project management, tailored development, operations and infrastructure. 

Statkraft and the energy industry are changing. IT and solid project management planning and execution are playing an important role in developing our businesses to future success. 

The IT project management department consists of 8 highly skilled project managers. We take on challenging projects within IT, performance, compliance, change, strategy and innovation projects. We seek to strengthen this team with two skilled and motivated senior project managers. 

Our project management framework is evolved and adapted from best practices with PMI - Project Management Institute as a key standard.
 

Your role:

• Work closely with business areas, understand their processes and needs, contribute to maximize the business value
• Be responsible for planning and execution of large and complex business and IT projects/programmes
• Be a team player supporting and collaborating with the project management team with your skills and experience
• Be a key player in improving our project management process and tools to secure successful project deliveries and high customer satisfaction
   

Your profile:

• Higher education at university level or equivalent
• Great passion and excitement for business/IT project management
• At least 5 years’ experience as project manager
• Proven ability to successfully plan and manage complex business/IT projects
• Experience within IT, performance, compliance, change, strategy and/or innovation projects are preferred
• Strong communication capabilities and talent for building trusted relationship
• Organized and structured
• Change management capabilities and focus. Comfortable taking on an advisory role
• Preferable experience within both waterfall and agile project planning and execution
• PMP® certification is preferred
• Fluent in English and preferably one of the Scandinavian languages
