We are searching for a Finance/Business Controller trainee that oversees the business and financial operations of our ServiceNow practice. You will assist the Head of the ServiceNow Practice and the Business Operation Director performing financial analysis and follow up on the business plans/ key performance Indicators (KPI).
As a trainee you will play a key role in supporting the management, steering the operation and the growth plans in the region. This is a trainee position where we are looking for a talent that have ambitions and are self driven.
The responsibilities and the function will be adjusted aligned with the learning curve but some of the responsibilities will be:
Responsibilities
- Advise Financial and Executive stakeholders in the Fujitsu ServiceNow practice
- Adviser for both the practice financial department and practice business leadership. As a trainee you will use your research, analysis and experience to develop business and financial recommendations, provide budget feedback, and assist management in key financial decisions.
- Perform monthly and quarterly closings
- Guide the monthly and quarterly closings directly with the practice finance departments and deliver the results after approval by the Practice Business Operations Director to the applicable finance department within Fujitsu according to the timelines set. The trainee will prepare the monthly result report for the different practice business reviews.
- Maintain weekly practice forecast
- On a weekly basis collect the forecast adjustments from the different practice regions/countries and update this in the forecast planning. After analysis the trainee will report the findings directly to the practice management.
- Advise on Budget Creation
- Working with the practice finance departments, the trainee uses financial analysis and forecasting to design and oversee the execution of the practice budget. Following standard accounting procedures, the trainee ensures that the budget is properly administered and follows legal guidelines, and to provide budget feedback.
- Perform Financial Analysis
- The trainee completes regular financial analysis, identifying and managing financial risk, completing financial research, performing economic and sales forecasting, analysing sales and overall performance, and managing financial data. This financial analysis comes together to assist the practice in decision-making.
- Report Financial Findings
- After completing financial analysis, the trainee is responsible for reporting findings and working with financial and management staff to make financial decisions. This can involve completing regular financial reviews and delivering accurate financial reports, executing sales reports and developing and giving presentations.
Requirements
Responsible for both financial analysis and business leadership, a trainee must possess both strong quantitative abilities and excellent written and oral communication skills. They are strategic, analytical thinkers who are driven by results and can innovate and develop creative financial solutions.
Skills:
- You should be a self-motivated professional who can work effectively without close supervision, making decisions without continual reference to your immediate manager.
- Demonstrating management skills.
- Being proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Possessing a master’s degree or about to accomplish such within Business Management or Finance.
- High professional level of English, oral and written.
- Continuously, seek to improve and build upon knowledge of market trends.
