Kongsberg Maritime, Solutions Division is responsible for controlled delivery of high-complexity, high-risk projects and World class delivery of tailored solutions.
Planning is a key aspect of project management and execution of our projects. We are seeking highly motivated and skilled planners to join and strengthen our team.
The position reports to: Manager Project Services
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Establish project plans for the execution of the work covering schedule, manpower and progress, in accordance with Kongsberg Maritime standard planning methods.
- Ensure that project plans are updated on a regular basis based on input from the project organization.
- Monitor and analyze progress, schedule, manpower and assists in analyzing cost/margin against baseline plan and current plan.
- Prepare and maintain forecast schedule and initiate corrective actions when this schedule deviates from current plan.
- Prepare reports for the Project Manager including consolidated project schedule and summary updates and S-curves.
- Execute baseline revisions.
- Review and participate in preparation of Variation Order Requests, and implement accepted variation Orders with regards to schedule, manpower and cost plans.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written English knowledge.
- Good communication skills – written and verbal
- Understanding of Project Management and Project Control techniques and standards
- Self driven, proactive teamplayer, cooperative approach.
- Capable of leading internal meetings regarding schedule
- Technical and / or commercial education BSc, similar or higher education
- At least 3 years of experience as planner
- Good knowledge with Kongsberg Maritime’s planning tools (EPM) and ERP system (Ax)
- Excellent skills in Excel, Microsoft Project and Powerpoint is required
- Knowledge of Primavera and other high level planning tools.
