GE Vingmed Ultrasound AS (GEVU) is a world leader in the development and production of ultrasound systems
for medical applications, and is a Center of Excellence in GE Healthcare. The company was founded in 1985 and

Role Summary/Purpose:

Provide technical support (My Workshop, the document control program used by GE) to engineering team. Handle workflow for release of new parts and Engineering change requests. Handle communication and document distribution towards suppliers.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (OR High School Diploma) or equivalent knowledge or experience
• Systematical and analytical abilities
• Positive personality with a strong service-minded attitude
• Systematic
• Experience with technical documentation
• Skilled in working with IT systems
• Able to coordinate tasks in a cross-functional team and to work independent and efficient.
• Good knowledge of English

• Initial issuance of system documents to all locations and personnel referenced in the documents, for making approved revisions, distributing, and removal of obsolete documents
• Coordinate program milestone documentation releases
• Tracking and overseeing engineering change notices
• Assist design control manager in change review board meetings
• Provide support for MyWorkshop to local system users
• Assist in the interface with the various teams who are responsible for creating, changing or releasing engineering tools
