Aker Solutions has recently secured new long-term contracts on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, and the project portfolio in Stavanger is rapidly expanding. We are now recruiting several new employees to strengthen our teams and prepare for future growth.

Aker Solutions Mechanical department based in Stavanger consists of over 20 highly qualified engineers. The engineers are involved in a wide variety of projects ranging from smaller Front End Studies to Major Modification Projects involving all kinds of equipment.

We now have an opening for a Mechanical / Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) in Aker Solutions Stavanger.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Mechanical Engineer with responsibility within study work (prepare for execution)
• Evaluation of technical solutions
• Prepare technical requirements for procurement and technical follow-up of suppliers

Qualifications / Personal Attributes:

• Master or Bachelor degree
• Good general technical knowledge within mechanical engineering and equipment
• Experience within procurement of equipment and positive attitude related to working in team
• As Package Engineer you will be leading a team of approximately 10 persons and coordinate technical input between same number of disciplines
• Experience within study work is a benefit
• Travel within Europe will be part of work related to follow-up of equipment delivery
• Language skills: Norwegian and English
• IT Tools: MIPS, SAP, TIME
