For our client we are looking for an experienced Engineer to lead and follow up the Mechanical Discipline related to topside work, in the development of multi well subsea system with tie-back.
Task and responsibilities
The Mechanical Discipline Lead will be responsible for follow up discipline related activities and technical solutions for Phase 3 Topside work. This includes the following tasks:
- Overall responsibility for the static mechanical topside scope in Phase 3
- Available as a resource person for Topside EPCI Contractor within the Phase 3 project
- Follow up Topside EPCI Contractors Engineering and project execution
- Ensure that HSE requirements are implemented in design and execution
- Ensure consistent design and implementation of contract requirement in interfacing contracts
- Evaluate and answer clarifications, Technical Queries, Non-Conformity Reports (NCR/DISP) and Variation Order Requests (VOR)
- Follow-up fulfillment of Technical Requirements from specification to delivery. Coordinate and align solutions with Discipline ladder, TR owners and leading advisors
- Consult / Discuss / Involve and align solutions with relevant Operation technical departments and Plant Integrity
- Contribute with technical / discipline input to project management regarding schedule, risk and verification activities etc.
- Follow-up LCI and As built documentation regarding delivery in correct time and quality
- Identify, report and follow-up critical activities within discipline
- Ensure experience feedback within the Projects base organization on a continuous level
- Identify, plan, perform and follow up Examinations (QS), Design Reviews and 3'rd parts verifications
- Participate in inter discipline scope clarifications within the project organization
- Company Follow-up of Mechanical Packages together with Contractor versus Supplier and sub-supplier wrt Contract, schedule and quality (ITP)
- Mechanical Packages: 1. Inlet Separator Package (180 ton) 2. 36" Pig Receiver 3. Hydraulic hatches 4. Fire doors 5. Temporary Pipeline pull-in winch (350 ton) 6. Temporary Umbilical / MEG pipeline pull-in winch (50 ton) 7. Temporary Utility winches
- Meetings with Contractor and suppliers, Package meeting with EPR, mechanical meeting with mechanical lead, multi discipline meeting with engineering manager, follow-up at different sites
Competence requirements:
Master degree and 8+ years relevant experience, OR Bachelor degree and 12+ years relevant experience, OR 2+ years higher education and 16+ years relevant experience, OR no higher education and 20+ years relevant experience
Language:Engslish AND Norwegian
Work Location:Onshore Sandsli/ Bergen
Project period:04.03.2019 - 29.05.2020. Option 1 x 6 months
