CLIENT PARTNER - BANKING & INSURANCE Cognizant

Position Overview 

We are looking for a business leader with digital and domain experience in Banking and Insurance. A person who will work alongside the sales and client partners to help inspire, develop and define customer needs and translate them into new digital solutions. Hereby being able to translate an implicit client questions into a solution fitting the whole of Cognizant. With a specific focus on Digital Business including Digital Strategy, Interactive, AI & Analytics, Connected Products, and Digital Engineering. 

This is an entrepreneurial opportunity to join a world class organization, build an innovative pace setting practice and be a member of the core leadership team. As digital partner, the successful candidate must possess an in-depth understanding and experience of either Banking or Insurance and have a demonstrated track record operating in a global matrix organization. Also, a candidate needs to be able to work collaboratively in an agile environment with subject matter experts, technologists and creative teams to plan, prototype and bring fully-baked solutions to market with large organisations and premiere global organizations.

The candidate will play a pivotal role in helping our clients ideate and drive digital transformation. You will be a primary interface for our clients, from inception to sales to execution. It is expected you can pick up a customer question, structure and plan it and oversee the execution of engagements, whilst developing relationships. In typical engagements you will be content wise overall responsible for the bid pursuit, develop solutions outline, support the ideation with customers, and be the digital expert during execution.

Some of the key expectations in the role would be the following:

  • Depth and breadth of digital transformation experience
  • Experience in providing counsel to clients outside of CIO organization, including CEOs, chief digital officers, CMOs, business leaders and other functional leaders
  • Create and manage pipeline of Consulting and IT projects across the digital journey of clients from prototypes to platforms.
  • Shape and deliver the customer’s digital transformation agenda from Ideation to Implementation.
  • Leverage strong domain knowledge in Bank and Insurance understanding customer’s business aspirations and challenges and design differentiated Digital propositions.
  • Build trusted ‘Digital’ advisor relationships in the C-level/executive management level across the client organization.
  • Work with Cognizant’s different Practice areas to propose, sell, and deliver digital initiatives at clients. In this way this role will bring the best of Cognizant to our clients to drive digital programs 
  • Build and leverage an eco-system of partners, alliances, start-ups, academia and design agencies to have ready-to-deploy teams to build customer specific digital strategy and solutions. 
  • Deliver: Facilitate project execution by providing support in executive-level issue resolution and management of scope and budgets.  Provide project leadership and direction of high-quality deliverables to ensure the success of client engagements.
  • Expertise: Deep practical experience in developing all aspects of Digital Transformation including market analysis, requirements gathering, strategy, business case, target operating model and high-level design, across a broad range of industries. Help develop methodology and best practices within Cognizant Digital Business resulting in published articles and potential speaking engagements 
  • Engage: Lead Ideation Workshops and targeted strategy-focused workshops. Explore underlying business and technical drivers opportunities, challenges and make recommendations and provide advisory services to our clients, creating models for success.

Requirements 

  • You have strong domain knowledge in the Nordic market (Banking and Insurance)
  • You have significant exposure to digital challenges in the industry with prior experience in digital strategy and/or technology driven programs with a consultative approach.
  • 10+ years of strategy, operations & process consulting, with extensive cross-industry experience in digital strategy and transformation (i.e. digital marketing, ecommerce, operations, collaboration, Internet of Things, customer experience and/or innovation)
  • You already have CXO relations and can connect with C-level and senior executives in the industry across the Nordics
  • Technology enabled business transformation is your playground - You can visualize and design transformational Digital solutions based on customer business goals, new business models and disruptive digital technologies. 
  • Proven experience in selling and delivering Digital transformation programs in the particular industry
  • Proven experience in managing and connecting global multi-disciplinary teams, partners and alliances across customer engagement life-cycles.
  • Minimum 8 years combined experience with a consulting firm and/or interactive/ digital agency?
  • Strong commercial drive to help shape the further development of Cognizant Digital Business

  • Preferably with a MBA background or similar
  • Analytical and understands a broad range of technologies; keeps up to date with market and technology trends

Travel

This role will involve domestic and some amount of international travel, as and when required.
