The Technical Department atPropulsioninUlsteinvikis now looking for anEngineerwithPower & Electricalbackground to strengthen the department's focus within power electrics and the electrical interfaces of our propulsion products.
Accountabilites
- Standard specifications and technical evaluations of offerings from supplies and supplier evaluations, including available tools, development and implementation of standards.
- Engage across products and quality assurance of solutions for off-standard solutions.
- Input and quality assurance for R&D projects within discipline.
- Engineering to order for contracted system solutions for motors, frequency converters, starters/transformers and generators.
- Interface and specifications towards Control system.
- You will work close together with our current resource within power electrics, sales and aftermarket, as well as our suppliers, and be part of the Technical Department on the site.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering. Relevant work experience could compensate for formal qualifications
- Hands on experience with the maritime sector.
- Knowledge of our products and technical ability.
- Good knowledge of how our products operate
- Good knowledge in automation and control logic.
- Preferable good knowledge of induction and permanent magnet motors
- Good communication skills.
