INEOS E&P Norge AS conducts upstream activities in oil and natural gas. The subsurface department is looking to significantly expand its portfolio of licences and increase activity in rounds and farm-in evaluations. We seek 2 reservoir engineers for permanent employment at our offices in Stavanger in Norway. The 2 reservoir engineers are to conduct in-house studies on INEOS' operated and non-operated assets and to support the exploration, development and new ventures team, by providing input to development concepts and cost estimates.

Reservoir Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Surveillance and analysis of well performance on producing fields
• Setting-up and maintenance of a production monitoring/management system
• Determination of resource / reserves for NFA and developmental projects • Prepare for and participate in presentations to JV partners and Norwegian authorities • Work with other members of the subsurface and the topsides engineering team to optimise existing and future field performance • Contribute to the advancement of the reservoir engineering discipline and the horizontal and vertical integration within INEOS Oil & Gas multidisciplinary value creation teams

Qualifications:

• Preferably University Degree in Petroleum Engineering (M.Sc.) and 5 years of reservoir engineering experience gained within an E&P operator environment
• Recent and Hands-on experience of IPM software (GAP, Prosper and MBAL)
• Hands on experience of OFM and knowledge of PDMS software like Energy Components (EC) • Knowledge of well testing methods and Hands on experience of well test software (Saphir) and knowledge of well performance prediction and evaluation. • Good understanding of all reservoir engineering disciplines involved in field appraisal, development and production (PVT, SCAL, well lift, well test analysis, well logging, well operations) • Strong communication and presentation skills in English both written and oral • Enthusiastic and proactive team player with the ability to collaborate across different technical and commercial disciplines outside the subsurface department

Senior Reservoir Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Development and maintenance of dynamic models for specific fields (oil, gas and gas condensate) as required
• Routine review and QC of simulation models & studies
• Determination of resource / reserves for NFA, developmental and exploration projects • Work with other members of the subsurface, asset and topsides engineering team to optimise project definition • Surveillance of well performance for specific fields as required • Conceptual field development planning on INEOS licenses as required • Knowledge of economic analysis with cashflow modelling experience • Prepare for and participate in presentations to management, JV partners and Norwegian authorities • Technical mentoring of junior staff within the team • Contribute to the advancement of the reservoir engineering discipline and the horizontal and vertical integration within INEOS Oil & Gas multidisciplinary value creation teams

Qualifications:

• Preferably University Degree in Petroleum Engineering (M.Sc.) and 10 years of reservoir engineering experience gained within an E&P operator environment
• Experience with multiple types of field development -- gas, oil, condensate, and a variety of recovery mechanisms on the NCS
• Recent experience of reservoir simulation with Petrel RE & Eclipse, IAM, Petex suite, and experience with well test software (Kappa) • Experience with well performance prediction and evaluation • Experience with all reservoir engineering disciplines involved in field appraisal, development and production (PVT, SCAL, well lift, well test analysis, well logging, well operations). • Experience in making stand-alone presentations within joint venture committees, to peers and to government agencies • Strong communication and presentation skills in English both written and oral • Enthusiastic and proactive team player with the ability to collaborate across different technical and commercial disciplines outside the subsurface department
