About the Unit

Finance & Global Business Excellence (F&GBE) serves as a commercial expert function for the Sales and Marketing segment, covering Finance, Commercial Excellence, Product Management, Marketing and Agronomy. The role of F&GBE is todrivestrategy implementation, operational excellence, performance management;supportbusiness unit and country strategy execution through best practices, on-the-ground support and knowledge transfer solutions; andgoverncommercial global processes, products and applications .

We are looking for a result-driven Business Controller to participate in all aspects of financial management, including segment-level financial reporting, business plan, financial forecasts, commerical excellence, as well as follow-up of internal control policies and procedures. F&GBE works closely with both the global functions and the business units, and as a part of this team you will be closely linked to our commerical activities, with close and frequent interaction with the Product Management team and the Commercial Excellence organization as well as Yara Management and Segment Management. The Finance team of F&GBE also provides controlling support to the global business units Digital Farming and Food Chain & Global Solutions.

Responsibilities

As a member of the Finance team in Finance & Global Business Excellence, you will be involved in the following tasks: '

· Develop and maintain profitability models for Yara's portfolio products as part of the Sales and Marketing Segment

· Participate in preparing periodic management reports and other sources of decission support: financial and business performance measurement

· Proactively analyze Sales and Marketing's value creation and financial performance across units and communicate findings/insights to relevant stakeholders

· Various controlling taks within premiums, margins, volumes, fixed cost, investment

· Facilitate the yearly business planning process

· Provide support to the Segment CFO & Finance Director

· Participation in improvement projects and perform ad hoc analyses

Profile

· Strong business judgement and interest as well as strong analytical abilities, ability to work in a multi-cultural environment

· Good communication skills, proactive and continuous improvement mindset

· University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Strategy, engineering or other relevant field. Master's degree is preferable

· >5 years work experience in relevant roles (project work, consulting, finance, or similar)

· Willingness to persue an international career in one of our overseas units

· Proactive and highly committed team player with good communication skills

· Proficient in Excel, knowledge of SAP/Hyperion an advantage, interest in learning new analytical tools

· Fluent English, written and spoken
