Mission
The Business Development Consultant has industry expertise and cross-portfolio knowledge that extends into using Mendix on top of various Siemens PLM Portfolio elements. He takes a leading role in the Siemens engagement with our customers. e.g. sales strategy, status, risks & mitigations. He acts as the overall architect of the solution proposed and shows thought leadership in his (presales) engagements and towards the industry events.
He elaborates Value propositions and is the Technical Orchestrator (= Pursuit Leader) of the sales process. He advises C-level executives on the use and value of the Mendix Platform in their environment. He facilitates workshops with customers to understand their application portfolio and find the best places for them to apply the Mendix Platform. He manages Proof of Concepts with customers and sometimes stays as Trusted Advisor during the implementation phase.
Profile
This specific role requires a Presales or Services background in Teamcenter and/or other portfolio elements of Siemens PLM, to be able to position Mendix on top of these PLM or MOM products. The focus is on Extension Play proposals to customers, where Mendix is used to extend the functionality of e.g. Teamcenter for customer specific requirements and innovative solutions.
