Join us and become a member of our global AML Customer Service Delivery (CSD) organization that provides comprehensive AML, Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) and Financial Sanctions services to the Danske Bank Group and our customers. Focusing on a seamless and sustainable customer journey, the global AML CSD organization has the ambition to become a Center of AML Expertise.

Your roleAs an Area Release Manager, you will own the Release Management lifecycle within your dedicated business area and will be responsible for the overall quality of the process and its' results. The role includes SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and other process critical change management, coordination of change releases, agreement with all parties involved on the implementation plan and follow up on the plan, testing, escalation of the challenges and good communication across the organization. The releases can be inclusive of process updates, improvements, system upgrades and changes, any other impact coming from Projects and Programs related to the processes in the area. You will provide regular updates on ongoing releases and keep the repository of change logs and releases for the area.

You will be playing a key role in driving the implementation of each agreed release for your respective area and keeping the area and stakeholders closely involved and informed as needed.

Internally at AML CSD, you will need to liaise with Head of Service Excellence, Head of Business Area and assigned teams, employees, externally outside CSD you will have to work closely with 1st Line Risk, Compliance, Business and Group IT.

While improving existing processes as well as establishing new ones, you will keep the AML functions in line with external/internal regulations.

You can be located in one of our offices in Helsinki, Trondheim, Stockholm or Copenhagen (depending on your choice).

Focus area:

  • Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
  • Measure and monitor progress to ensure releases are delivered on time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations
  • Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications and required updates
  • Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes
  • Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities
  • Manage relationships and coordinate work between cross-functional AML teams at different locations
  • Continually work towards making improvements in the release process

Our ideal candidate:

  • Proven track record of previous release and/or project management experience (solid understanding of project management principles preferred)
  • 3+ years of extensive experience of setting up process standards and coordinating their execution
  • An in-depth understanding in compliance/AML operations would be a significant advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate work of cross-functional teams toward task completion
  • Analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of Stakeholders, Senior Managers and subject matter experts
  • Fluency in verbal and written English
