System Manager - energy systems Statkraft

System Management and Vendor Relations (MIMS) is a group under Statkraft IT that support the business with the governance for some of the main 3rd party software systems. This unit is responsible to follow up vendors when it comes to maintenance contract, operational dialogue, and is accountable for the ITIL processes.

 

Your role: 

The position’s main responsibility will be the system management of Brady EDM. This system is the Energy Data Management system for the Nordic power market at Statkraft and the system for Physical trading and Settlement & Balancing. As system manager of Brady EDM, you will be working closely with the different business areas from energy metering to settlement.

 

  • Be the single point of contact between the vendor and Statkraft
  • Follow up vendors in case of incidents, support and maintenance, license, invoices
  • Follow up Statkraft interests /rights based on the Support and Maintenance agreement from the different vendors
  • Follow up IT application engineers regarding Incidents, or remote access for system vendors
  • Manage internal coordination meeting forum with business units and IT for prioritization of tasks, status, information exchange and general coordination
  • Report into the Steering groups and projects

 

Your profile:

  • Technical degree at university level (MSc/BSc), relevant experience can cover for missing education
  • Knowledge with settlement related systems (preferably Brady EDM)
  • Experience with software development
  • Preferably some previous job experience of being in-between software vendors and internal departments
  • Ability to ensure good cooperation between different disciplines and departments
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good administrative skills
  • Genuine team player
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English
