Are you a newly graduated structural engineer and have an interest in, or experience with steel and offshore constructions? Do you have a good understanding of numbers and are familiar with different construction analyzes? Force Technology is now looking for a new employee who can assist the company in their further projects within the oil and gas industry!
Academic Work are looking for, on behalf of our partner, a structural engineer to Force Technology who can assist with analyzes on primarily offshore steel constructions, but also some onshore constructions in concrete. The company mainly works with Jack-up rigs as well as different solutions on how to anchor these in the seabed. In other words, there are many disciplines that are included in this type of work and the opportunity for learning and development is enormous!
As a construction engineer at Force Technology, you will have a varied workday where you will mostly work with design of offshore steel structures, analysis of these and report writing. You will work in teams of five to ten people, this means that you can always rely on your team members to support you. Furthermore, you will learn all necessary programming languages before you become fully operational. There are opportunities for external courses, but much will be done internally. This is done to ensure that you as an employee have the best conditions for success!

Among other things, you will work with:
- Analysis and design of offshore steel structures
- Some analysis and design of onshore steel and concrete structures
- Write reports
- Perform calculations with Sesame/Ansys/Sacs
- Review technical drawings
Vi søker deg som
- Has completed higher education as a civil engineer or construction engineer
- With advantage has interest in, or experience with offshore work
- It is beneficial if you know how to use Sesame/Ansys/Sacs. If you do not have experience with this then it can be learned
- Has good numerical understanding and has experience with calculations of constructions
- Experience with NORSOK will be considered as an advantage, but it is not a requirement
- English is work language
