We are looking for our next Business Manager

Then you are the Business Manager we are looking for. You will be part of the Commercial & Business Development team in Trondheim that provides support to all Teekay Offshore Production Assets and Projects globally.

As we wish to strengthen our focus on Business Management, we are looking for a new colleague who can join us in developing a self-driven matrix organization to deliver excellent results to our customers.

You will be responsible for developing best-for-business outcome for an existing asset as it nears the end of its current deployment. You will have the overall responsibility for the process of evaluating disposal, sale, or a redeployment of the unit, including budget and accountable for unit redeployment budget.

We are looking for a candidate that is flexible, self-driven and motivated by learning. We work in a matrix organization where initiative and empowerment are important.

Some of the things you will be doing

• Responsible and accountable for establishment and achievement of financial, time and quality metrics.
• Responsible for bidding and negotiating and executing the full suite of required agreements.
• Participates in continuous improvement and development of best practice in compliance with outcomes of the Redeployment Project.
• Establishes and leads redeployment team.
• Enables the involvement and alignment of competencies and support across the organization - multi- professional in the business unit and corporate organizations.
• Works closely in briefing, making recommendations to and taking guidance and direction from Steering Committee and Head of New Business.
• Ensures communication strategy is developed and followed.
• Establish a budget to cover requirements to establish state of unit and do FEL (Front End Loading).

What we are looking for

• You have minimum 15+ years in the oil and gas industry (FPSO experience strongly desirable).
• You have 5+ years in a management/ supervisory position, and with strong leadership skills.
• The right candidate has 5+ years in a commercial role in one or more of business development, project management, and/ or asset management, including extensive client and contractor management.
• We are looking for a candidate with proven record in contractual and commercial negotiations.
• A strategic and organized mindset and systematic approach to work is preferable.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English is demanded. Norwegian and Brazilian language is preferable.
• You must be flexible on travels both onshore and offshore.
