We offerAt Nestlé Purina, part of the world's leading nutrition, health and wellness company Nestlé, we are looking for a Key Account Manager for our retail team in our Nordic organization. In the Nordics Nestlé Purina market and sell food for cats and dogs. The position as Key Account Manager represents a great opportunity to work in an exciting category with big potential. We are a dedicated, passionate, dynamic and a very tight team that work to exceed our customers' expectations. Periodically, the work pace is high, but we always have fun together and ensure a good balance between working life and privacy. In this role you will have a large network; internally, in Nestlé Purina, within Nestlé Nordics, and externally, with our customers. The Nordic Purina team is today around 60 people.

Your responsibility and tasks
As Key Account Manager you are responsible for leading, growing and developing the business sales with existing assigned key accounts as well identifying and building new opportunities for long-term growth. In this role you are responsible for creating long-term, lasting and trusting relationships with our customers and Key Decision Makers. In our team we grow sales through solutions and by supporting our customers in finding opportunities for sales growth. We also transform market and competitor analysis to conclusions and concrete actions. We need someone therefore, who is sociable yet comfortable with analysis work -- you should enjoy both. In the position as Key Account Manager you report to our Commercial Manager and will be based in our office in Lysaker. Some travel to our Nordic HQ in Copenhagen is required, we estimate it to be around once a month. Number of nights away from home is estimated to 30 per year.

Your experiences and qualificationsIn order to be successful in this role we see that you have previous experience from a commercial role within an FMCG organization. You can have been in a key account manager, a category manager or have worked within purchasing. Business acumen is key. In this position you need a highly developed ability to think and act commercially as well as strong negotiating, communication and presentation skills. You should feel comfortable preparing business cases and drawing up business plans. We see that you have a university degree, are fluent in Norwegian and English and we assume you are PC literate.
