Kongsberg Maritime Project Engineer - Control & Safety

For one of our clients we are searching for a Project Engineer - Control & Safety

Job Description:
Control & Safety delivers large scale Safety and Automation Systems (SAS) to Oil and Gas projects, offshore topside/subsea production and installations worldwide.

• Collaborative work in integrated teams with Engineering project partners & Customers
• Participations in various kinds of projects, from large new build projects to minor MMO projects on producing installations offshore
• Engineering and configuration of SAS system
• Prepare functional Design Specifications (FDS), System Control Diagrams (SCD)
• Prepare test procedures and various project documentation
• Testing and verification
• Implementation of new configuration onshore/offshore and commissioning,
• Participation in project meetings with customer.
• Assistance to Project Partners & Customers

Qualifications:

• Engineer (M.Sc./B.Sc./B.Eng) in Cybernetics, Electronics, IT, Software/Programming, Automation, Control Systems, Process Control or equivalent

• Relevant work experience, within one or more of these areas:

  • Topside Control
  • Safety Automation Systems

• Comfortable working in a hectic, demanding international environment

• Focus on fulfilling customer's needs and expectations

• Practical, hands-on approach to complex tasks

• Independent, Professional and quality-minded

• Positive, robust, tolerant and cooperative personality

• Fluent oral/written Norwegian and English communication

• Travelling onshore and offshore might be required
