We're looking for a Business Developer to maintain and expand the relationships between StartupLab and our Corporate Partners. This role provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with top executives and entrepreneurs while assisting company growth through new client acquisition. And also support our Corporate partner program and further strengthening the capacity of our verticals focusing on Mobility, IoT/Robotics, Data Science, Energy and Financial industries at StartupLab.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

New Business Development:

• Identify growth opportunities and develop relationships to enable the continued growth of StartupLab's ongoing initiatives (Mobility, Data Science, IoT/Hardware, Energy and Finance/Insurance)
• Manage and track a growth pipeline with large corporations

Contract Negotiation/Closing:

• Work with the corporate team to close corporate partnership contracts

Partner Retention:

• Connect startups with relevant partners and work actively to promote the startups
• Initiate and support events such as meetups, demo days, mentor sessions and similar
• Work with operational staff and other colleagues to help our partners meet their goals and ambitions with their partnership
• Collaborate with corporate executives in dealflow sessions to ensure all partners are engaging with startups according to their business needs
• Arrange and participate in internal and external partnership events

We would love to hear from candidates with:

• Passion for entrepreneurship (and startup experience is a plus)
• Entrepreneurial mindset and a can-do attitude, strategic thinker, with the ability to flourish with minimal guidance
• Genuine enthusiasm and interest for startups and new technologies
• Strong interpersonal skills - experience working directly with clients and building relationships with people of all levels is necessary
• Experience from developing business strategies and innovation processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Preferably a university degree (Bachelors/Masters in Economics, Business or Engineering)
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience from startups, industry or consultancy
• And if you have an expansive network among large corporates where you have been engaged with corporate innovation and transformation programs, that will give you a flying start.
