We are looking for talented developers to join our engineering team in Oslo, Norway. As a member of the web team you will be a fundamental part of building video meeting and collaboration applications for web and desktop using WebRTC, Typescript, Electron and React.
Candidate Qualifications
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as JavaScript or TypeScript
Familiar with HTML and CSS
Comfortable working in a team and solve problems together
Responsible and want to be proud of the code you write
Not required but definite bonuses
Experience with TypeScript, React/Redux, WebRTC or WebSockets
Experience in profiling and optimizing code
You have serious Nerf gun skills
The role
In the front-end team you will be working closely with team colleagues and our Interaction Designer. Your work will be focused towards coding but all team members are encouraged to contribute to feature and UI design. At Pexip we believe that developers should do what they are best at and motivated for. There is a good chance that your day-to-day responsibilities will change based on your preferences and motivation. Pexip is an international company and our Oslo development team alone is made up of 35 people from 18 countries. You will cooperate with a team of passionate people where new ideas are highly appreciated.
