Lead Financial Analyst

INEOS Oil & Gas Norway is looking to strengthen its Finance team with an ambitious Lead Financial Analyst with strong analytical skills and a solid business understanding. In this role you will support our oil and gas organisation with timely and reliable analysis. You will join a team of highly skilled and talented colleagues in an international environment.

We are seeking a Lead Financial Analyst for permanent employment at our offices in Stavanger, Norway. Travelling should be expected, primarily to Denmark.

Key responsibilities:

  • Handle investment analysis related to the asset portfolio
  • Handle valuation in relation to business development activities
  • Offer support for budget and long-term planning purposes
  • Prepare presentations and decision memos for the Board
  • Develop and create portfolio analysis on an ad hoc basis
  • Maintain and develop economic models

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree within finance or other relevant area
  • Experience from a similar position within financial analysis, preferably within the oil and gas industry
  • Ability to plan and carry out tasks independently employing a structured, analytical and results-oriented approach
  • A solid business understanding
  • Proactive and highly focused on quality
  • The ability to see alternative solutions and possibilities
  • Excellent skills in relation to cooperation and relationship building with both colleagues and stakeholders
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including oral and written reporting
  • Expert in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English, verbally as well as written
