OurGlobal Customer Supportdivision is responsible for Kongsberg Maritimes services, upgrades and support in the aftermarket. Our 2300 employees are present in 35 different countries around the world. During the operational lifetime of more than 30.000 installations, we ensure cost-efficient delivery of services, upgrades and spare parts in order to secure availability and predictability to our customers.

Kongsberg Maritime Traininghas the functional governance for all the training services provided to KM customers and collaborators globally, the operational responsibility for the training operations in Norway and the responsibility for KMs internal training activity.

In the role asVice President KM Training(“VP”) you are, together with the training management group and the regional managers, responsible for ensuring continued high quality and efficiency in the delivery of KM training services, while constantly working to improve KMs commercial position in a highly competitive global market.

You will build a strong global network of colleagues to ensure consistent and sustainable deliveries and efficient operation and cooperation around the world.

Exploring, selecting and implementing new tools and methods for building competence and streamlining the global operation, is an important part of the role. You have a strong interest and competency in this field, including tools as simulators, labs, virtual learning environments, training management systems and learning management systems.

Key accountabilities
• Operational and commercial responsibility for KM Training Norway
• Ensure efficient, high quality Internal Training to support the global needs of KM. • Global governance for KM Training world-wide • Continuous improvement and modernization of KM training deliveries • Ensure full integration and commercially viable delivery of course portfolio from acquired companies.

Qualifications and experience
• Education at Bachelor level as a minimum is required
• Some years of management experience is required • Good understanding of digital tools and the opportunities they enable is key • Good understanding of the maritime industry is important • Comfortable in speaking and writing English is required • Speaking and writing Norwegian is preferred
