Avløser/fjøsrøkter

Vi har nå ledig stilling som avløser/fjøsrøkter på Gevik gård.

Avløseren vil i hovedsak jobbe i fjøset på Gevik, hvor det er om lag 90 dyr i et tradisjonelt båsfjøs. Stillingen er i stor grad selvstendig og den ansatte vil ha ansvar for alle aspekter ved den daglige fjøsdrifta og for å sørge for dyras ve og vel.

Stillingen innebærer bruk av traktor. Den som tilsettes forutsettes å beherske traktorkjøring og ha gyldig førerkort for traktor med henger.

Det må påregnes noe helgearbeid etter avtale.

Stillingen innebærer mye samarbeid både internt på gården og eksternt med leverandører/dyrlege/andre.

Arbeidsoppgaver

· Fjøsstell inkludert rengjøring, melking og fôring;

· Guiding av dyr til og fra beite ved behov;

· Sørge for dyras helse og velferd samt oppfølging av syke dyr i samråd med gårdbruker og dyrlege;

· Oppfølging av og bidra til videreutvikling av smittevernrutiner;

· Andre oppgaver inkluderer vedlikehold av gjerder og annet forefallende arbeid, traktorkjøring med tilhørende bruk av redskaper for jordbearbeiding inkludert pløying, harving, innhenting av gress.

Andre oppgaver kan tillegges stillingen ved behov.

Opplæring i bruk av melkemaskin og lokale fjøsrutiner vil bli gitt.

1-2 timers nettbasert gjennomgang av standard for smittevernrutiner i norske fjøs vil bli gjennomført.

Krav til kompetanse

· Motivert og har interesse for landbruk og dyrehelse

· Førerkort klasse B samt gyldig førerkort for traktor med henger

· Godt humør, gode samarbeidsevner og god fysisk form

· Pålitelig, strukturert og ansvarsbevisst

· Fleksibel og selvstendig

· Kunne ta ansvaret for drift på en gård

· Bidra positivt til et godt arbeidsmiljø

Ønsket kompetanse

· Agronomutdanning/voksenagronom, fagskole eller annen relevant kompetanse.

· Det er ønskelig med operative kunnskaper i et skandinavisk språk, engelsk, tysk, eller russisk/ukrainsk/hviterussisk. Du bør kunne forstå engelsk.

· Om du ikke behersker norsk fra før, er det en fordel om du er villig til å lære deg norsk.

· Det er ønskelig med erfaring og gode resultater fra tilsvarende arbeid. Vi ber om at du oppgir referanser.

Personlig egnethet vektlegges.

Det er også mulig å angi en mindre stillingsprosent i søknaden. Dersom søkere søker på en mindre stillingsprosent vil vi vurdere å ansette flere avløsere.

The farm Gevik in Levanger municipality is a dairy farm with gras production. The farm is situated near the Trondheim fjord in Mid-Norway, in the village of Ekne. Ekne village has an active community association and a sports group, and has a grocery store, a harbour for leisure boats, kindergarten and primary school, a soccer field and other fascilities. The area offers rich possibilities for outdoor activities. The village is within short distance to the towns Levanger and Verdal to the north, and to Frosta and Stjørdal in the south. The nearby towns offer shops, banks, sports and swimming halls, and a wide variety of cultural activities.

Farm worker

We now have a vacancy as a farm worker / worker in the cowhouse.

The farm worker will work mainly in the cowhouse, where there are about 90 animals in traditional stalls. The job is largely independent and the farm worker will be responsible for all aspects of the daily management and welfare of the animals.

The job also includes driving a tractor. The farm worker is expected to master driving a tractor and to have a drivers' license valid for driving a tractor with a trailer (прицеп).

The work may also extend to weekends.

There is a lot of teamwork both internally on the farm and externally with suppliers, veterinaries, and others.

Tasks

· Tending the cowhouse, including cleaning, milking and feeding;

· Guiding livestock to and from grazing grounds;

· Tending for the health and welfare of the cows, as well as follow-up of sick animals in dialogue with the farmer and the veterinarian;

· Following-up of -- and contributing to the further development of -- routines for disease control;

· Other tasks include fixing fences and executing other necessary tasks, driving a tractor and using farm tools for working on the lands, including ploughing, harrowing, and fetching grass/fodder for the animals.

Other farm related tasks may also be included.

Relevant training will be given in how to operate the milk machine and other local routines in the cowhouse.

A obligatory review of standard procedures for disease control in Norwegian cowhouses will take place, in Norwegian or English.

Required competencies

· Motivated and interested in agriculture and animal health

· Drivers' licence, class B (car) and drivers' licence valid for driving a tractor with a trailer (прицеп). Must be valid in Norway.

· Good mood, ability and will to cooperate, good physical health

· Reliable, structured and responsible

· Flexible and independent

· Ability to take responsibility for the practical management of a farm

· Ability to contribute positively to the social work environment

Desired competencies

· Education in agricultural or other relevant fields of study

· Working knowledge of a Scandinavian language (Norwegian, Swedish, Danish), English, German, or Russian/Ukrainian/Belarussian languages. Must understand English language.

· If you do not speak Norwegian at first, it is a plus if you are motivated to learn Norwegian.

· Experience and good results from similar work. We ask that you send references with your application.

Personal suitability for the job will be emphasized in the hiring process.

It is also possible to apply for a smaller position as a farm worker. In the event that applicants apply for a part-time position, we will consider hiring more than one farm worker.

As soon as possible. The trial period is for three months.
