Digital Marketing Specialist (engasjement) Discovery Networks Norway

General Summary:

Discovery Networks Norway is looking for a one-year maternity cover for our Digital Marketing Specialist. The role works within the Marketing and D2C team to create and deliver retention reactivation and acquisition strategies for Dplay Norway, in order to ultimately increase subscriber numbers and viewers as well as reduce churn. Furthermore, the role will be responsible for campaign marketing management around key show launches. The position will work operationally and analytically with the Nordic CRM system in close collaboration with the Content and Marketing team.

The role will be part of the Discovery Nordic marketing team and located in Oslo.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and develop acquisition and retention programmes in close collaboration with marketing managers and agencies.
  • Create and maintain segmentation models, devising relevant customer types and build upon personalization programmes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all material and content is delivered on time and aligned with the brand values.
  • Develop marketing campaigns for Dplay shows.
  • Track the performance and KPIs by using customer insights and data.
  • Create digital marketing concepts, strategic analysis and define digital strategies.
  • Translate data-led insights into strategic recommendations to underpin the digital development and execute robust online plans to deliver targets.
  • Maximize commercial opportunities.
  • Coordination of Nordic projects.
  • Work with Adobe Campaign Suite in order to improve consumer communications and remarketing campaigns.

  • Customer Acquisition Costs
  • Customer Satisfaction Metrics

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience with digital marketing/CRM
  • Strong analytics skills, also with web analytics
  • Great Norwegian language skills in direct to customer communication
  • Understanding of web analytics packages; ie, Google Analytics, Adobe
  • Understanding of customer needs and user experience
  • Native in Norwegian. Highly proficient in written and spoken English
  • Confident in working with digital marketing and targeting solutions e.g. Affinities, attribution, audiences, segments, retargeting, customer match etc.
  • At least 3 years of relevant education (marketing, business or similar) including practice in the domain
  • Experience in Adobe Campaign Suite
  • Familiarity with AII Funnel
  • Consumer relations skills
  • Great collaborator
