Data Visualization Specialist - Tableau Cisco Systems

We have an open position in our Operations team in the Webex Devices business unit.

Our team is focused on improving how we (Cisco) deliver true value to our customers; This means to understand our customers reality, to identify gaps and opportunities in how our business unit operates, and then to suggest and drive improvements. We increasingly rely on data for our organization to make informed business decisions. Our Operations team plays a central role in building this culture.

Ultimately, this is about improving the customers experience and driving successful adoption of our products. We engage on this together with the rest of the organization.

What you will do

• You will be part of our Webex Devices Operations team, focusing on understanding how we can describe and improve our processes with the use of data.
• You will use of data visualization tools and techniques to effectively communicate data trends with stakeholders
• You will create Tableau dashboards with focus on maximizing the message and minimizing the noise.
• You will perform analysis, gather insights and work on how we use data to make better informed business decisions. This is about linking our strategy to actual operational execution.
• You will seek feedback from users to improve our data driven decision making.

Who you are

You have a few years of experience working in a role focused on business, analysis and/or operations. You have experience with data analysis and visualization as well as relevant tools in this area.

• You have min 3 years’ experience in use of Tableau or other BI tools
• You have an experience in SQL and Snowflake
• You are knowledgeable and can explain what types of data visuals are more effective than the others in conveying the message
• You are analytical in your approach and have a mind for continuous improvement;
• You take initiatives and are motivated by making real progress and change;
• You get stuff done!
• You enjoy working with people from different teams and subject areas;
• You are good at listening and you seek to understand.
