We are now looking for a HR Specialist in Compensation and benefits   

 

Your profile and experience

 

We are looking for a person with background in rewards, especially in the areas of job structures and base pay management including benchmarking, range development and international merit process. 

 

You have built up your career in the field of compensation and benefits for several years and understand current human capital trends. You have proven track record of designing and implementing compensation processes in a large company. It would be great if you have prior knowledge of working with cloud based human capital application eg Workday.

 

As a person, you enjoy developing processes and leading initiatives all the way to completion. You are able to gather and present data in a story that resonates to our business leaders and HR community alike. You excel at Excel and have expertise in analyzing data in multiple ways. Ambiguity does not discourage you but rather drives you to co-create solutions with business counterparts pushing for progress, not perfection.

 

This position is a part of the HR Operations team located at Fornebu, Norway, but you will also work close with Global Total Rewards team located in multiple countries. Being part of virtual team and working independently through various HR and business networks comes naturally to you.

 

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain compensation and benefits related topics in Norway
  • Reinforce company culture and strategy by means of flexible and competitive compensation solutions
  • Design and develop local reward programs, policies and processes and make implementation and educating HR and managers. 
  • Harmonization of compensation and benefits related to ongoing merger in TietoEVRY
  • Advise and educate HR and Leaders on compensation and benefits topics in Norway.
  • Monitor internal and external reward data and statistics for Norway
  • Operational tasks
  • Work closely with local finance to evaluate reward initiatives along with global reward agenda
  • This position will work close with the central compensation and benefits in the company, but have responsibility for Norway

 

To succeed in this position, you will need

  • 2-3 years’ experience working with compensation & benefits in a large company
  • Higher education bachelor or master’s degree within HR/finance or other relevant excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • fluent command of English and one Scandinavian language
  • Strong technical, research, and problem-solving skills
  • Skilled negotiator with experience
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries.
  • Be able to communicate and work with managers on different levels.
  • Work both strategic and operational, have the ability to complete a project from start to end
  • Experience working with unions and leading a salary review is a plus, but not a requirement
