Our Concrete Solutions Engineering department, within the renewable segment, located at Fornebu isnow looking for a Multidiscipline 3D Layout Engineer .
What will you be doing?
Be part of the Outfitting Engineering group involved in design and development of Outfitting systems, equipment, steel structures and components for Concrete Substructures.
- Multidiscipline outfitting engineering and design for assigned studies and projects within the Concrete Solutions area
- 3D design of the multidiscipline outfitting systems for concrete substructures, including substructure systems, layout, secondary steel, mechanical and EIT equipment etc.
- Liaison and cooperate with other disciplines and departments in a multi-discipline environment, including civil and marine engineering, marine operations and construction/constructability engineering
- 3D design lead responsibility in studies and projects
- Development and use of engineering tools for design, simulations and analysis
- Participation in design reviews, HAZIDs, HAZOPs and Risk Assessments
- Handling of external and internal interfaces
- Assignments abroad (expat), at construction sites (engineering site rep, commissioning, marine operations)
We think you should have:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience with 3D design, preferably related to layout and some multidiscipline tasks
- Domain knowledge of 3D modelling using Aveva E3D and/or similar
- Multidiscipline and conceptual layout and design understanding, interest and competence
- Fluent in the English language, written and verbal
- Knowledge of the Norwegian language or willingness to learn
- Knowledge of relevant Norwegian regulations and standards related to the offshore oil & gas and renewable energy sector
