Sport & Rekreasjon was established early 1998.

The business primarily focusses on selling and maintaining bicycles.
Each year we sell 6.000 and we repair 12.000 bicycles.
We have 25 people employed in total and our turnover for 2011 approximately NOK 52 million per year.

Our chain of shops are named Bike Brothers and we are located in Rogaland, in the western part of Norway.
Here we have 3 shops situated respectively in Stavanger, Sandnes and Haugesund. All shops have also separate workshops.It is in these workshops we need new skilled bicycle mechanics

Job description: Repair of bicycles and mounting of new bicycles. We need skilled and experienced bicycle mechanic with minimum 5 years of experience.Must speak and write fluent English.

Daily work here could involve among other tasks:
- Assembling/disassembling and identify different types (ITA/ING) bottom bracket
- Wheel building
- Crank arm replacement
- Change derailleurs
- Headset overhaul
- Changing brakes, brake levers and shifter levers
- Changing all kinds of cables
- Limit screws adjustment (both derailleurs)
- Center brakes
- Chain check, replacement
- Cassettes and chain wheel replacements
- Disc mount facing
- Fork service Rock Shox, Manitou, Fox, Lefty, Suntour
- Frame replacements
- Hub service internal and external hubs, Sram and Shimano
- BB30 bearing installation and removal
- Disc brake service and bleeding of all kind of brake brands
- Calculating price estimates for repair
- Calculating the final payment for our customers
- Customer contact
- Ordering parts from suppliers

Working hours: 37.5 hours a week.
Start date: As soon as possible. Full time employment
Salary: From 25 000 NOK to 38 000 NOK per month.
