We do design & engineering, fabrication, sales & marketing and after sales & service of our state-of the art Minox® systems. Minox is known in the industry as the most compact, efficient and environmentally friendly way to deoxygenate sea water in order to eliminate corrosion and bacterial growth in improved oil recovery systems. We are also doing R&D of concepts and ideas within green technologies to meet the challenges of our time.
From our offices in Notodden, Norway we are serving customers within the global offshore oil and gas industry as well as the onshore process industry.

The Operations Department serves customers worldwide and our commitment is to always strive to deliver our projects ON TIME with the correct QUALITY. As a Mechanical designer in the Operations Department, you will have responsibility for mechanical layout of equipment, routing of piping and design of structural steel skids in accordance with process requirements, P&IDs and in compliance with standards, codes and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Layout and design of equipment, structural steel and piping runs
  • Create 3D models and 2D assembly & detail drawings
  • Ensure mechanical compliance with process requirements, P&ID’s, standards codes and customer requirements
  • Take part in new customer projects

It is perfect if you have experience from

  • 2D and 3D CAD tools like Autodesk Plant 3D, Inventor, AutoCad, Revit & Navisworks
  • piping in accordance with ASME
  • ISO standards
  • pressure vessels in accordance with ASME & PED
  • steel structures/cable trays/tubing trays
  • knowledge in ASME / NORSOK
  • preferably 3 years’ work experience
  • technology or project organizations with strict requirements for HSE, quality, and security
  • leading technical discussions and negotiations with clients
  • technical project management
  • managing international customers and have a cross cultural mindset

Education Bachelor/Master in Mechanics is preferred, but candidates with other technical education and relevant experience are welcome to apply. We encourage graduates within mechanics to apply for the position.
