The newly established Attraction & Mobility team at Statkraft is now looking for a Group Talent Acquisition Manager that will lead the Talent Acquisition team across Europe and the Nordics. The position will report to Vice President Head of Attraction & Mobility, and can be based in Oslo, Norway or Düsseldorf, Germany. As leader of this new team, your job will be to ensure we provide an automated, proactive and data driven talent acquisition experience  – all united under one global employer brand strategy.

You will lead an international team made up of passionate talent acquisition experts from across our key European locations – all working together to ensure Statkraft is the premier talent destination that identifies and employs people powered by purpose. Your Role:

As the Group Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be the glue that connects everything together and partner with the business to ensure we provide a customer-centric recruitment experience for both the hiring manager and candidate. By using data driven methodologies, new technology and a proactive approach, you will ensure our talent acquisition advisors find the right people for the role to ensure we are able to deliver on our promise to improve the planet.

You will be responsible for developing a group-wide talent acquisition that aligns to our current and future talent needs within Statkraft and also support and enable implementation of a new global employer brand.

Key responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the VP Head of Attraction and Mobility, you will have line management responsibility for the talent acquisition advisors (6) and will be responsible for executing and implementing the global Talent Acquisition strategy and way of working – (including supporting employer branding, training and technology)
  • To improve and continually update an efficient talent acquisition strategy to improve recruitment and business performance 
  • Be a part of driving the adoption of professional recruiting, interviewing and hiring practices that support a strong candidate experience (internally and externally)
  • Develop, manage and maintain a highly skilled team to assist with talent acquisition at all levels
  • Managing end-to-end recruitment for senior roles and/or supporting recruiters in doing so
  • Identifying and partnering with external providers as required to ensure hiring needs are met
  • Defining and driving team to meet and exceed hiring benchmarks relating to time to fill, cost per hire, diversity hiring and hiring manager and candidate satisfaction.
  • Defining and leading Talent Acquisition projects focused on continuous improvement and improved candidate/hiring manager experience
  • Working with senior executives to advise on recruiting tactics that will help to sustain the company’s success including annual recruitment forecasting.
  • Contribute and support optimization of internal recruitment and internal mobility
  • Develop and retain a diverse talent acquisition team with a focus on upskilling and training (via the Statkraft Recruiter Academy)
  • Working with the Employer Branding Advisor to ensure implementation, activation and reflection of Statkraft Employer Brand Strategy and EVP into the talent acquisition processes.
  • Serve as a best practice ambassador and dotted line support to our recruiting teams in South America and India.

Your Profile:

  • You are a team player involved in overall success of the team
  • You will have 5-10 years` experience working with and executing recruitment both internally and externally (including team leadership experience) ideally within the energy and renewables sector
  • Detailed knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) technology and recruitment data/KPIs and experience of ATS implementations is an asset
  • Up to date knowledge of employer branding (communication and activity based) on a multi-local basis
  • Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills
  • English language (another European language would be an asset)
  • Experience driving /leading talent acquisition change programmes from both a strategic and operative level
  • Experience in managing a recruitment team with a strong understanding of talent acquisition ideally with experience of remote management
  • Ability to be strategic and tactical when making decisions
  • Proven track record of increasing talent sourcing within an organisation by improving direct hiring 
  • Passion and curiousity for talent trends and optimising the candidate experience
