Made for Movement is seeking a group CFO with administrative responsibility to strengthen its finance and administrative capabilities. The position reports to the CEO and will be an important contributor to the executive team and to the further development of the company.
The position will have a broader focus than a "pure" finance function. The person will, in addition to being the head of finance and accounting, have responsibility for HR, IT and administrative responsibility of the Norwegian office. The person is expected to take a leading role in driving process improvements across the group. The finance, admin, HR and IT functions currently consist of 5 FTEs in addition to the CFO role, all in Skien.
The position requires 3 days a week at the company's head office in Skien but is otherwise flexible with regards to geography. Some travel is to be expected in relation to project work.
Areas of responsibility
- Overall responsibility for the company's financials and finance function, as well as administrative responsibility of the HR and IT functions
- Administrative responsibility of the Norwegian office
- Process improvement; be a driving force for improvement of internal processes, including creating consistent systems and processes across markets and subsidiaries, as well as ownership of digitalization agenda
- Further development and follow-up of the company's principles and routines for good corporate governance and reporting
- Participation strategy discussions, business development and tender processes in Norway. Expected contributions within analyses and general business insight
- Liquidity management and asset management, including analysis, optimization of cash flow and working capital. Risk management in connection with liquidity and cash flow will be essential
- Monitoring the company's profit development, follow-up of key figures and KPIs, incl. establishing modern live data dashboard reporting systems
- Budgeting and forecasting processes
- Efficiency and profitability analyses
- Periodic reporting of results and financial / financial position
- Currency hedging
- Investment analysis, business case and cost / benefit assessments
- Participation in board meetings and preparation of documents for these
Professional competencies
- 5-10+ years of relevant experience, preferably with previous experience as financial controller or CFO
- Strong financial and accounting proficiency, with consolidation experience. Experience with beyond budgeting is of interest
- Experience from export-oriented or international business, with insight on typical legal and regulatory issues that arises in such businesses
- Experience with IT strategy or implementation
- Proven leadership skills, managing people in a collaborative manner with documented results
- Fluent in Norwegian and English
- Experience with managing ESG processes or audits is of interest

- Good business understanding, professionally confident, and comfortable challenging business decisions
- Ability to think holistically, and preferably demonstrated ability to create value both from operational improvements and strategic/analytical insights
- Also practically oriented, with proven ability to make things happen and solving issues, attending both the strategic perspective and the operational details of the issue at hand
