Quality Engineer
(Fixed term 12 months)
Oslo and Lillestrøm
We are now looking to find a new colleague to join our Quality Engineering Group in Norway. The Quality Engineering Group is part of the Norway Quality Assurance Group and consists of Quality Specialists and Engineers with expertise in Equipment and Process Qualification, CAPA process, Risk Management, Complaint Management Process and Design Compliance.
What will you do?
• Use expert knowledge in validation of equipment, instruments, manufacturing processes, cleaning processes and computer systems to ensure compliance with relevant standards and guidelines
• Facilitate root cause and risk analyses
• Serve as Quality Representative for quality-related corrective/preventive actions
• Create quality documentation and development of SOPs for the site in line with industry and regulatory standards
• Work closely with Facilities and TechOps to ensure that the quality procedures and standards are followed, and the documentation is correctly maintained
• Review and improve systems and processes to ensure maintenance of standards
• Interface with suppliers and vendors to help resolve complex quality issues
How will you get there?
• Bachelor or master’s degree in relevant subject (chemistry, biology, biochemistry, mechanical, automation, electronical)
• Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems and standards ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485
• Experience in quality tools e.g. DOE, FMEA
• Experience in CAPA/Root Cause Analyses
• Experience in Change Control
• Knowledge of qualification/validation (equipment, instruments, manufacturing processes, cleaning processes and computer systems) requirements
• Experience in Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Industry is an advantage
• Proficient (spoken and written) in English. Knowledge of a Scandinavian language is an advantage
