We are looking for a functional SWIFT specialist in our SWIFT Service Bureau, which for international payments and high value payments connects them to the SWIFT Network on behalf of our customers, to further strengthen our competency in this area.
As part of the SWIFT team you will be an important resource in the team, working with a variety of activities and challenges.
A SWIFT Service Bureau is focused on security and compliance in addition to providing excellent customer service, and it is important that you are accurate, analytic and responsible.
Who we are:
We in the SWIFT Team work in the financial messaging area, with financial institutions as our customers. We consist of about 10 people in a cross functional team, split between two different departments. We are a fun and open minded group of people, who focus on helping our customers and making sure our solution is secure and compliant at all times. We like the nitty gritty details (the devil’s in the details), and we take pride in delivering a critical service for our customers.
What you will do:
- Contribute to our area in internal small and large projects e.g. implementing new solutions required by SWIFT for the customers, or onboarding customers on to new SWIFT services
- Develop and manage functional message flow to existing / new value chains within payment services
- Develop and manage systems related to SWIFT payments
- Analytical work, e.g. in relation to requirements from customers and suppliers
- Handling error situations
- Keep up to date with SWIFT requirements
- Handling customer orders and customer queries

Preferred background and experience:
- Knowledge of payment solutions
- Familiar with SWIFT
- Good oral and written presentation skills in both Norwegian and English (both languages is a prerequisite for being considered for the position)
- Experience in managing IT-systems
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to handle error situations and assessment of consequences
- Work experience from the financial services area is preferred
- Higher education is desired, but work experience can compensate for lack of formal education
