Circle K Terminal Group is a fully owned subsidiary of Circle K, responsible for managing the company’s fleet of fuel terminals across Europe and part of the US. More than 10 billion liters of fuels are managed through our facilities a year, served by 85 dedicated employees in 20 locations. The Project Manager Role
You will join our technical team of six engineers located in Oslo and Riga. The team is responsible for terminal modification and improvement projects and technical support. We run our projects in a combination of on-site hands-on project management and remotely, dependent on need and local conditions. The right candidate needs to master both.
As a project manager you will provide support on technical challenges in a global operational environment. International travel between the terminals will be necessary.
You will also lead project portfolios across the different terminals. Multidisciplinary understanding is a requirement, as our projects typically comprise of several disciplines such as mechanical, process, civil, electrical and automation.
The Project Manager Responsibilities • Project Management of small to multi-million Euro Capital projects • Management of project portfolios, assisting Operations directors with prioritizations, forecasts and initiation. • All dimensions of project delivery, including:
Financial understanding, from building up a business case to detailed cost follow up in projects
Managing scope, budget, and schedule
Procurement and contract management Cross borders coordination HSSE and risk management • Driving projects through all project phases from initiation, through approval, engineering, procurement, construction, and start-up • Technical and operational support to terminals
The Project Manager Qualifications
In this exciting role you will contribute with most of the following qualifications:
• Engineering degree within automation is preferable, however candidates with background within process control, electrical, mechanical, technology management or similar disciplines are welcome to apply. • Master’s degree or relevant work experience • Skills and experience with automation systems is especially valued. • Five years or more of relevant experience from project management • Experience from process engineering, process automation and/or consultancy • Experience from oil and gas, chemical or similar industry • Fluent English, written and oral • Commitment to successful project delivery • Commercial mindset and stakeholder management abilities • Collaborates well in a team environment, maintaining close relationships globally and an open and ongoing dialogue • Communicates well, with the ability to work holistically and systematically Candidates demonstrating interesting skills / features and mind set are welcome to apply
Expected Work Location
We are looking for a candidate at our location in Oslo. The role will require travelling to our terminals.
