The perfect time to join us is now
We have proven that people want a better online shopping experience, and we are growing fast. Amazon has announced their arrival to the Nordics, which will turn the e-commerce industry upside down. Corona has made it more important than ever for people to get the things they need delivered to their home. And we have a great team with solid financial backing to make it happen.
Joining us now as a Project Manager within our Product Manager Office, you will have a lot of room for growth and influence how we deliver success. It’s a great opportunity to make an impact, have a lot of freedom, work on a variety of project types and collaborate with exceptional people.
Your role as Project Manager, Product Management Office
Whether it’s project managing a product roll-out or helping realise our strategy, you'll be supporting the Product Team to successfully deliver cross-company initiatives. You'll need to be equally comfortable creating and managing detailed project plans, as you are drafting presentations that help communicate and drive the team's ambitions.
You should definitely thrive on dealing with multiple people from different parts of a business, with different motivations and needs. Being naturally curious, communicative and detail orientated will go a long way.
We'd like you to have all the usual project management skills and experience. Such as breaking initiatives into tasks, planning project timelines, resource management, dependency management, monitoring progress, capturing requirements from workshops, and communicating progress to stakeholders. If you come with any Project Management qualification, then great, but it's not a prerequisite. Ideally you have some hands-on experience delivering projects within a consumer focussed technology company, and familiar with an agile way of working.
Being integral to the Product Team, we'd look to you to help share our knowledge and insight across the business to further drive our commercial and operational success. So, we'd like you to have some solid experience creating slides and presentations that distill potentially complex information into something that's easy to understand. You might, for instance, one day need to distill our product strategy into a presentation, the next contribute slides towards a sales presentation.
In this role, and at Porterbuddy in general, there will be ample opportunity for you to evolve. Whether that's taking more responsibility with larger initiatives or moving into product management.
Prior Project Management experience required
We would expect that you have some years of Project Management experience to build on (bonus if it’s within consumer focused technology). Apart from that, we'd just like to get to know you, and learn about what makes you most happy at work.
