We are now recruiting ROV Pilot Technicians for our Norwegian entity DeepOcean AS and our UK/International entity DeepOcean Subsea Services.

DeepOcean operates a fleet of industry leading offshore vessels and ROVs providing construction, maintenance, survey and inspection services to the offshore energy industry. We currently operate in Europe, West-Africa and Gulf of Mexico. DeepOcean has established its place as a market leader through its investment in the most up to date technologies and recruiting the best industry professionals.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Put safety first and make sure ROV operations are carried out in accordance with current regulations, client requirements and internal procedures
  • ROV pilot during operations; assist in launch and recovery of ROV systems
  • Perform repairs and planned routine maintenance on ROVs and sensors
  • Keep an overview over planned operations and make sure ROV systems are in proper condition; maintained and calibrated for operation
  • Experience with faultfinding

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of ROV experience
  • Minimum 200 hours of experience of ROV operations
  • Experience with work class and construction ROV's such as Kystdesign Installer, Supporter or equivalent ROV's.
  • Certificates of apprenticeship from one of the following disciplines: ROV, Mechanics, Automation, Hydraulics or Electronics
  • Good computer skills
  • Current medical certificate
  • Basic safety training incl. CA-EBS and HUET
