To strengthen our project execution team, we are now looking for a Senior Project Manager, preferable to be based at our head office in Porsgrunn.
The project manager is responsible for leading teams for successful completion and delivery of electrolyser hydrogen plant EPCIC projects, and to execute internal development projects to further develop our product and system portfolio to meet customer requirements. The Project Manager has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis, verifying that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined for the project delivery.
Your areas of responsibility will be:
- Lead planning, execution and evaluation of projects and studies.
- Project follow-up internally, towards end-customers, partners, and subcontractors.
- Project cost controlling, forecasting and status progress reporting all discipline.
- Participate in tender and pre-qualification work.
- Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.
- Manage and mitigate risks and uncertainties in projects.
- Ensure that projects are carried out in compliance with requirements from authorities, customers and HydrogenPro.
Experience
- Extensive experience in project management, planning and project governance to achieve project objectives.
- Extensive experience with large international multidiscipline projects preferably in the energy and/or process industry.
- Experience in using milestone-based project models.
- Broad expertise with technology projects.
- Experienced user of visual project management and interactive tools.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership, drive results, solve problems, and possess interpersonal skills from prior work situations.
- International competence and cultural understanding.
- Fluent communication in English, both written and oral.
- Some Norwegian, both written and oral is required.
Education
- Bachelor- or Master of Science degree, preferably in process, mechanics, electrical/instrumentation, or automation.
