Business Operations Specialist Norwegian Hull Club

We are looking for a detail-focused Business Operations Specialist to join our Business Operations team. The successful applicant will be someone who has a passion for efficient processes; someone who focuses on continuous development and automatization. Tasks will require attention to detail, a structured approach and good numeracy skills.

This position - which can be filled immediately - is based at Norwegian Hull Club's new head office at Skipet in Solheimsviken, Bergen.

Responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to work with several engaging process areas. Initially, focus will be on insurance premium-related tasks - verifying calculations and allocating received payments.

  • Documentation - checking and issuing policies and registering policy changes;
  • Insurance premium - verifying calculations and allocating received payments;
  • Claim transactions - processing payments to clients;
  • Know Your Customer (KYC) - processing client-related information.

This position will also involve:

  • Working towards improved, standardised and harmonised processes, as well as participating in internal development projects;
  • Contributing to a positive and knowledge-sharing team culture;
  • Cooperation with stakeholders across the organisation.

Preferred qualifications and experience

Our preferred candidate possesses relevant professional experience, preferably from the insurance or finance industries. They will also have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree
  • Relevant work experience within accounting;
  • Good understanding, knowledge and experience of various administrative tasks and processes;
  • Experience of using Excel professionally;
  • A good understanding of - and interest in - different IT tools and systems;
  • Good written and verbal English and Norwegian language skills;
  • A genuine interest in the insurance business.
