Project Manager -- System Upgrades Kongsberg Maritime - Global Customer Support

We are looking for a collaborative and determined Project Manager within our Systems & Performance Contracts department for Aftermarket Projects. The projects span over Kongsberg Maritime’s complete product portfolio and consist of complete system upgrades and retrofits of vessel types spanning from a wide range like passenger, cruise, research and fishing vessels to offshore wind farm vessels. We are looking for a motivated and experienced colleague with passion for system project management contributing to delivering innovative maritime solutions to maximise profitability and increasing customer satisfaction.

Keyaccountabilities

  • Manage and deliver projects with high focus on quality, profit and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead complex projects organisations and ensure cooperation across several business units and functions.
  • Programme and contract management globally of in-service vessel fleet projects, upgrade projects, docking/overhaul projects
  • Assist Global Sales Team with both technical and commercial input.
  • Improvement activities for tools and method

Qualifications and experience

  • Experience from project management.
  • Educated to degree in engineering or other relevant studies is preferred, but relevant experience can replace the requirement for formal education
  • Any technical background or skills will be considered positive.
  • Knowledge about ERP systems.
  • Experience from working directly with customers in Maritime industry.
