You will be a part of a diverse hardware team consisting of 14 electrical HW engineers. That means you are going to be key for all the exciting technology and ideas that are developed at Cisco Webex Lysaker. You will work in teams and projects, and have everyday contact with mechanical engineers, software developers, product owners and industrial designers. You will be selecting and working with all kinds of relevant HW, different type of sensors, and displays, as well as being part of building and defining the whole display strategy around our entire product portfolio.In this role, you will
- work with displays, sensors, and general electrical HW
- work close with the largest display manufacturers in the world
- tie together a display strategy for our product portfolio, imagine what we could do next, “better than being there”, and go make it
- work with peers and colleagues on product development
- explore, build prototypes, labs, and test facilities
- cooperate and visit suppliers across the globe
- help us save the climate by designing video conference equipment shipped all over the world
Our future teammate:We are looking for an experienced engineer in the field of HW and display, but even more important is your mindset and your approach. In this role you need to be curious, passionate, and be able to bring things together. You like to share your knowledge, ask questions, provide feedback, and are willing to learn and adapt.As a HW and Display Engineer you will be working with colleagues from different teams and disciplines. If you prefer to work all alone, this role may not suit you.In addition, do you:
- have an analytical approach and a mindset for continuous improvement?
- have relevant education (bachelor's or higher)?
- have at least 2 - 3 years of experience with HW, and have worked with displays or have an interest in displays?
- Love to build mockups and test out concepts at an early stage
