We are looking for an Agile Coach as a part of our skilled cross-disciplined Development Teams.

We use Lean principles and Agile development methodologies based on SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).

We work with product development from idea, concept, design, industrialization, verification and through launch. Our product development includes software, electronics, mechanics and test disciplines. The HW products are manufactured in China and are being assembled in our own facility in Shanghai, and are installed worldwide.

The teams are in Stockholm and Landskrona, Sweden and Ski, Norway with focus on system and embedded software. The teams co-operates closely with the HW development team also located in Ski.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

The Agile Coach helps those outside the Agile Team understand which of their interactions with the Agile Team are helpful and which aren’t.

The Agile Coach helps everyone change these interactions to maximize the value created by the Agile Team.

• The AC is the coach for an Agile Team.
• The AC help educate the team in Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), Kanban, and SAFe, ensuring that the agreed Agile process is being followed.
• The AC help remove impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement.
• The AC help the team meet its goals and coordinate activities and dependencies with other teams
• The Ac teach and coach team practices, implementing and supporting SAFe principles and practices, identifying and eliminating impediments, and facilitating flow.
• The Agile Coach helps those outside the Agile Team understand which of their interactions with the Agile Team are helpful and which aren’t.
• The Agile Coach helps everyone change these interactions to maximize the value created by the Agile Team

The Agile Coach serves the Product Owner in several ways, including:

• Finding techniques for effective Product Backlog management;
• Helping the Agile Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items;
• Ensuring the Product Owner knows how to arrange the Product Backlog to maximize value;
• Understanding and practicing agility
• Facilitating Agile events as requested or needed.

The Agile Coach serves the Development Team in several ways, including:

• Coaching the team in self-organization and change.
• Removing impediments to the team’s progress.
• Facilitating the Agile events (stand-up, demo, sprint planning, retrospective).
• Reduce risk for teams possibility to deliver (e.g. impediments, conflicts, lack of knowledge...)
• Protect the team from unplanned tasks.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Relevant degree for Agile Coach
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience from similar position
• Good knowledge in Lean methodology and correlation with SAFe framework
• Good leadership skills
• Used to relevant Agile tools (e.g. Atlassian Jira and Confluence)
• Strong team player
• Good guiding, coaching and communication skills
• Structured, focus while maintaining the overview
• Very good skills in oral and written Scandinavian and English languages
