For this position we are seeking a technical and design expert within fluid systems.
Responsibilities
- Technical and design expert within fluid systems.
- Responsible for execution of projects according valid routines, process and standards.
- Execute leadership in projects, secure that technical documentation (incl. drawings, specifications, 3D-models etc.) presented in projects are according to standards and “best practice”.
- Secure that working tools and processes are used and developed to secure high quality performance from the team, including continuous improvement of “best practice”.
Main Challenges
This is a role of an expert in dedicated subjects:
- Product and design specialist within Raufoss Couplings electro-pneumatic actuation systems with dedicated focus on fluid dynamics.
- Ability to contribute with professional input and improvements.
- It is expected a high level of independency and ability to take responsibility, also taking a broader perspective sometimes.
- Long-term planning and thinking.
- Be analytic and a good problem solver.
- Carrying out projects and tasks in a timely matter.
- Priority of work tasks within responsible projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor/Masters degree in Science, Technology, Engineering
- Technical education/competances from other institutions, college or university
Experience and knowledge:
- Minimum 5 years technical experience from development and production tasks.
- Expert skills within fluid dynamics engineering.
- Skills on electric actuated valves (pneumatic or fluids) is desired.
- Expert skills with design software and supporting tools the business is using.
- Detailed knowledge about FMEA, geometrical tolerances and functional dimensioning.
- Knowledge about materials and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge on automotive fluid systems is an advantage
- High level of knowledge about the business quality routines, especially related to product development.
Special demands
- English -- fluent verbal and written
- Norwegian/Scandinavian skills are an advantage, willingness to learn the language
