Implement and maintain a Health, Safety and Environmental Culture and a Quality & Continuous Improvement Culture within the Hub, by assuring and controlling HSEQ with systems, tools and teams to ensure safe working environment while ensuring sustainable operations. In charge of implementing & maintaining the HSEQ Management System of the Hub. All aspects managed in line with ABB and Division guidance. Actively involved in Division guidance development.

This position reports to the Hub Division Manager.

Your responsibilities 

• Regional implementation of global HSEQ strategy
• Assists line managers, supervisors and other team members within the HUB in understanding obligations, liability and how to fulfil their roles, according to local HSE law and ABB Group/ Division policy
• Ensure Regulatory and Legal compliance, implement policies and standards
• Drives behavioral change through implementing Division/HUB performance improvement programs and practices locally to ensure an exemplary health and safety culture as well as a strong focus on environment throughout the respective organization.
• Works with local management teams to: prevent mistakes and defects in products and services avoid problems when delivering solutions or services to customers, provide confidence that ABB and customer quality requirements will be fulfilled
• Participates in defining the annual budget for area of responsibility.
• Ensures effective internal controls are in place to verify that processes continue to meet customer and stakeholder requirements. Validates that control plans are applied and effective in mitigating known risks.
• Ensures the Voice of the Customer is captured and represented within the local business.

Your background

• Minimum 3 years of experience on the relevant position preferably in global organization
• Formal HSE training and qualification
• Experience in Risk Management and continuous improvement (OPEX)
• Experienced in the internal HSEQ Controls and Auditing
• Quality Management understanding and skills (ISO Internal Auditor certification as preference)
• Cultural awareness, excellent communication and negotiation skills, good argumentation and ability to influence internally and externally
• Patient, passionate, persistent with continuously improvement mindset
• Good skills to handle customers, communication, change management, cultures
• Fluent in English
